Encaustic Collages
This series is created from altered papers and original prints that are collaged with an encaustic overlay that softens the images and lends layers of mystery. The works often contain subtle images, references of the original that emerge from the fog of color or pattern. This work illustrates her love of texture, an illusion to the weathering and aging of an object.
